We collaborate with Intrum Justitia regarding our debt management. Therefore, we do not send reminders, so if you pay the rent late, you will receive a debt collection notice from Intrum Justitia, which means you must pay collection fees and interest.

If you pay the rent late, you also risk losing your housing. Therefore, you should contact Skebo as soon as possible if there are any issues with payment.

No, the occupant of the apartment must terminate the lease, and it will be advertised as available. The applicant with the longest queue time will be offered the apartment.

If you are moving, we need a written termination of your apartment. Fill out the back of your lease agreement under agreement on moving out or print out a termination form (available to download here on the website).

We also accept terminations that arrive via email. Once we receive your termination, we will send a written confirmation as soon as the termination is registered.

When you terminate your apartment and contract with Skebo, the notice period is three months, even if you move within Skebo.

If several applicants accept, the apartment goes to the one with the most queue points. Applicants usually also have a notice period to consider on their current residence, so they can rarely take over your apartment in advance.

According to the lease agreement, you have a three-month notice period, but if the person moving into your apartment has the opportunity to move in earlier, the notice period may be shorter.

When you change residence, it is important to make a relocation notification to the Swedish Address Change to ensure that mail from authorities arrives at your new address. In connection with this, you need to specify your apartment number. Each apartment has a Skebo number (object number) and a number from the Land Registry (apartment number).

When making a change of address and contacting authorities, the land registry number (apartment number) should be specified (4-digit number). You can find this apartment number on your lease agreement next to Skebo's object number.

Skebo, as the landlord, does not compensate for your personal belongings if you lack home insurance and suffer theft, fire, water damage, or any other accident, except in cases where Skebo is at fault/negligent. The same applies if water damage occurs at your neighbor's place but affects you.

If you have no home insurance, you will not receive compensation for destroyed items, drying, etc. You may also be required to pay for your temporary accommodation during the repair period. Therefore, it is essential to have your own home insurance.

If you need an extra key, first contact us at Skebo 0910-73 65 00. We will provide a requisition confirming to the locksmith that you live in the specific apartment and have the right to order keys. You then go to the locksmith with identification and the requisition to receive your key. The locksmith usually makes the key while you wait.

Due to the risk of pests, you are not allowed to feed them in connection to our properties as the remains from the feeding will be left on the ground. However, it is okay to hang food for them on a tree a bit away from the property.
